Ah, the garden is growing like crazy with this wonderful california sunshine. Here the pumpkin can be seen trying to steal all of the light from the whole garden. It has been pruned back a bit to give some space to the peppers, but the tomatoes are having no problem holding their own against the onslaught. I like the flowers from the pumpkin, there are some good fruits forming as well. Soon -- carving knife and candles will come to bear.

I have finally and I mean finally mastered how to post on this blog (don't remind me that it has taken me a year). Here are some pictures from a few of my recent trips to Adri's bachelorette party and wedding and also Vegas with my sister and mom.
I have finally and I mean finally mastered how to post on this blog (don't remind me that it has taken me a year). Here are some pictures from a few of my recent trips to Adri's bachelorette party and wedding and also Vegas with my sister and mom.
As usual the honeydo list is long with little projects here and there.....though we are no contractors, we have mastered the art of many things. Here is a list and some pictures of the projects from January of this year.
1) Built and planted vegetable garden, complete with stepping stones and trellises. Though a work in progress, it looks great in comparision to what it was. Don't you think?
2) Installed a chandelier in the kitchen over the table.
3) Painted the door to the garage the same color as the room- it is a deccorator thing!
4) Planted three european birch trees and one lime tree.
5) Planted and installed two hanging baskets of flowers and countless other pots of flowers around the house.
This was all done while we worked two full time jobs and Julia took 3 trips!
