Isabella is sitting, rolling and considering crawling any day now. She is still happy, easy going and very accepting of new things. She is a champion eater, gobbling down any new culinary treats we send her way, and loves her big sister. Just this weekend the two of them played together for almost an house in a room away from both of us- it was amazing to peek in and see.

Happy 6 month birthday Isabella! You are an amazing baby- you have 2 teeth, you devour food, you are calm & mild mannered and you smile at everyone!

Last night, as I was on the phone, I heard a loud thud and knew it was my daughter hitting the floor. She landed on her hands and feet, but bumped her head- thankfully not badly. Then this morning I came into her room right as she started to climb over the edge of the crib. This evening we can home to hear that she safely climbed out of the pack n play at the nanny's house and was playing in the room. Luckily we only had 1 time where she fell out. Needless to say tonight it the night to ditch the crib- a Tuesday night on the week when we have a million things going on, but alas kids never time things according to your schedule, so we are dealing.
We looked at toddler beds online for $200 and gasped at the thought of spending that much on a bed that would last a year or two and instead we opted for a craigslist find- a white sleigh toddler bed for $35! We brought it home and Cyrus disassembled the crib with Sophia's help. 
At bedtime it took us 15 minutes of using the super nanny technique of putting her back to bed with no emotions and words to get her down, but now she is happily asleep in the middle of her bed.
As Sophia would say "Ni ni"!
