I am happy to share a bit more about Isabella's first day. Here is a video of her first moments, maybe 2 minutes old here.

A little overdue, but still worth updating the blog about.
We took Sophia to her first San Jose Sharks game a few weeks ago. We were lucky enough to be invited to a Penthouse suite and thought it was a good opportunity to see if she liked it. She was overwhelmed by the noise and spent about 2/3's of the game in the lounge area playing with her little animals. When she did finally warm up to watching them play she had a great time doing shark arms and saying, "Go Sharks, beat the snails".

This is Sophia's 3rd Easter; I can't believe it! Every year is exciting, but this year was special. She adored the trail of jelly beans and the presents, especially the bucket with her name and a puffer fish on it.
A walk down memory lane of Sophia's first 3 Easter celebrations:

Some of you may recall when we asked all our friends to guess the weight of Sophia. In that excellent tradition – everyone guess the mass of the next addition to our household!! Get your guesses in soon. Birthday could be any day now. Remember the rules – give your guess as a comment to this thread, price is right rules, and the winner gets a special champagne toast with the new family.
Sophia came it at 6lbs 1oz, Julia was 7lbs 3oz, and Cyrus was 7lbs 10oz. Last time the 1lb guess actually got the win!

Isabella is scheduled to arrive in less than 2 weeks, so it is appropriate that I have been working to put the final touches on her nursery. I am so excited to have the honor of being a mom to not one, but two girls. While I think much of the parenting we will do with Isabella will mirror what we have done with Sophia, I also think that some things deserve to be different from the start. The nursery is one of the ways I am differentiating.
Sophia’s nursery is pink & French country inspired. Isabella's nursery is Tiffany blue & classic but modern. The furniture is the same and the guest bed is still there for overnight visitors, but the feel of this room is different.
