Oh my gosh Dad, thats shocking!
Dad, can you believe it? I have been having a pretty good time growing so fast recently and my face keeps getting more and more expressive. I thought it would be impressive for everyone to see the amazing faces I can make. I can hardly believe it myself.

Six Word Sunday: Happy Unbirthday B! We miss you!
Since B is the person who introduced us to Six Word Sunday we thought we should memorialize her birthday in this way.....sorry that it is a few days late!

Story time for Sophia
One of my favorite times as a kid was always story time. Having read just a few stories to little Sophia, I think I can report that I like story time as Dad just as much if not more than when I was little. Here we are reading "The Best Nest" Soon we will move onto some of my other bed time favorites like, "Green Eggs and Ham", "Organic Chemistry", and "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! ". Oh yeah, and "The Lorax" -- one of the first and best environmental books of all time. Dr. Seuss was clearly ahead of his time.

Executive row reclaim
Here are Jeff, Ben, and I with our take of beautiful birds eye maple and marble that was in reclaim from our workplace. Luckily we have friends like Ben who we can bring out to help us move our loot. It was almost maxed out but it all fit on his trailer. I have disassembled one of the pieces so far, but I will have to make some follow up blog posts as we figure out what we are going do do with this stuff. As you can see, it is filling up most of our garage. So I am sure that Jewels will be very, very keen to help us figure out exactly what that is so we can get it out of our garage!
Thanks to Larry also for helping us load it up at work and for helping make it all happen!

Karen and Sophia
Here is our little angel with Karen. You can tell she will make a great mom by the relaxed way she holds Sophia. This is also proof that you can only have so many posts in a row without a picture of Sophia. It was great seeing all our friends over the weekend. Everyone loves to see her, but it often seems she picks those times for a nap so some of our friends only get to see the eye lids. See the previous post for what you are missing!

Sophia Makes her Mark
We had fun dipping our baby in paint today and mushing her features onto clay. We also pressed her too cute little hands and feet into clay as you can see in the pictures. I guess this is better than "i make my mark like an X" (think of cletus the slack jaw yokel) Anyway, we had fun, got a little dirty. I am sure the finished product will turn out beautifully.
