Kicking me into shape

Little Sophia, yes that is her name, is kicking me up a storm. Ironically every time I think I can not complete the tasks in front of me at work or something at home she gives me a couple of jabs....it is like she is encouraging her mom to do it all!!

Feeling her kick is the best thing about pregnancy.....I love this!

More to come on all the activities I have been kicked into. For now pictures of more adorable baby clothes for our future princess!!!

Growing Belly at 19 weeks

It seems that my belly has picked up some speed as the baby is starting to grow....though some clothes do accentuate it more than others.

Burn Baby Burn

Recently I have burned myself a few times. First it was on a lightbulb while painting the baby's room closet. It was a complete accident, so I wrote it off.

Then last night, as I was making lemon bars for Valentine's Day and for Cyrus's work group (since he is on to bring a snack this week) I did it again. This time I was putting a cold oven rack into my preheated oven and for some reason my brain decided that the other rack was cold too......so I grabbed it with both hands. You can guess how it ended without all the details. Let's just say that my writing is limited today as my hands are bandaged and are not bending well.

Cyrus and I were joking last night that we should buy stock in Johnson and Johnson with the way that I am going.

Chalk it up to pregnancy brain.....

The big week.....

This week we are finding out if baby Tabery is a girl or a boy! We are celebrating by taking the day off work and having a family day on Friday.

In other news, here is a picture of me at 17 weeks. I am a little bigger now, but not too much different. It is exciting to start showing.

This weekend we worked very hard. Cyrus finished the nursery closet organizers, caulked the crown molding, moved furniture in our family room and planted the new hydrangea plants in the front yard. I continued to organize the guest room, put together photo albums, weeded the front yard and relaxed. We got a lot done and we are both starting to feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Now I must clean up dinner and put away laundry before bedtime.
