We have been married for 5 years, which is actually extremely hard to believe as time has flown by. We celebrated by spending an afternoon wine tasting in the Santa Cruz mountains. After all the wine we had dinner at a fantastic spot in Los Gatos- James Randall. If you live in this area and need a night out, go here- you will not be disappointed!

A few weeks ago, Meemaw and Peepaw flew out to spend a week with us watching Sophia grow and also enjoying our company. We celebrated Mother’s Day and spent a day in San Francisco as a group and then Sophia took them to the park and Hakone Gardens on the days we were in the office. They had a great time together, playing, singing, exploring and generally doing fun things. It was a great help to the tired parents who enjoyed a much needed date night and also a few days/nights off from the usual routine.

A few weeks ago, Meemaw and Peepaw flew out to spend a week with us watching Sophia grow and also enjoying our company. We celebrated Mother’s Day and spent a day in San Francisco as a group and then Sophia took them to the park and Hakone Gardens on the days we were in the office. Everyone remembers loving the slip n’ slide as a kid, right? This weekend our neighbors had theirs out on the grass for their kids to play in it. When Sophia woke up from her nap we decided to see if she wanted to try it out. She adored sliding on it and went over and over again. Her expressions are priceless.

Sophia is finally at the age where she enjoys actually enjoys being around other kids. Up until this point it didn’t make or break the experience. Last Friday my friend Paula and I took our girls to Happy Hollow. They had a blast together, holding hands and walking, riding rides, eating snacks, drinking juice boxes (Sophia’s first) and just being silly.
