Tahoe Lakeside -- Little Sophia enjoys the water
We took a nice family walk down to the beach by the house today. It is nice and warm and we enjoyed the sun beach side. It was a rocky beach and it took some doing to prevent Sophia from ingesting massive quantities of small pebbles but we managed some how. The black rocks were especially hot and if placed just in the right place on your back felt simply heavenly.
I took Sophia for a quick dip in the water both with and without clothing. She actually loved it. She is definitely growing up, she is learning to love the water. Julia looked really cute in her hat too!
two things immediately come to mind after viewing these photos: she kept her hat on! -and- where are all the screams and cries like when she went in the ocean on maui?! i guess she's a true northern california girl.

I love this series. Julia peeking. Sophia peeking. Also, I like the symmetry of feet in the lake pic, Soph's feet in the light, Cy's feet in the water. Lots of play of the light in that pic.
